Time is Energy

We have been simply understanding time as the duration between two events. We are able to measure time, estimate time, anticipate time, do anything but change the pace of time. It is easy to live time. To explain, it will be difficult. We pass it without being aware, just like we breath without being aware of it. We don’t know how much time we have passed and can never know how much we have got left. You might be a bit skeptical about my perspective when I say, “Time is energy”. Yes! It is energy and possibly the most potent energy.

We were simply a single cell which over time underwent multiple divisions and differentiation to give rise to our complex body systems that function so efficiently that much of the physiological mechanisms is yet to be understood. It is only matter of time that the occurrence of the Big Bang gave rise to millions of galaxies containing innumerable solar systems within each of them. Millions of years might have elapsed before the first sign of life was seen on the Earth. And nobody knows how much time we will take before we discover lives in other planets and galaxies. But, there sure is life in other planets ; may be primitive as compared to ours or may be super advanced  beyond our wildest imaginations.

There’s nothing that time cannot do. It can turn a seed into a several meters tall tree, a bankrupt into a millionaire, a caterpillar into a butterfly, arid summer into torrential monsoon, a river into an ocean, a child into a man, the  future into the history and  a star into a white dwarf. Do not challenge time to test its invincibility. World feared dictators are helpless in front of time, the most ferocious  beast becomes toothless and clawless with time, the active volcano becomes quiescent over time, even the mobile tectonic plates adjust themselves and stabilize with time. Deepest of the wounds are healed with time, tallest of the mountains are formed with time; the air, water, earth and everything within it are formed with time.

The sun is believed to be the ultimate source of energy. But, the sun wasn’t always there. It isn’t always there even now. Even during the daytime, sometimes it gets blocked by thick clouds. But, the time is always there. No matter how much intense sunlight of whatever wavelength and frequency you apply, no matter what proportion and amount of nutrient you provide, no matter how much you try to make the environment most favourable, the seed will take its time to grow into a sapling and subsequently into a tree. We cannot expedite time during the gruesome hours of distress and we cannot slow it down during the fantastic hours of vacation. Is it rational to expect a baby in just three months by exploiting three women into the process of reproduction ? That’s ridiculous. We must wait near around 280 days before a normal baby is delivered.

No matter how much resources we squander, the greatest resource that determines the outcome is time. Understanding its insuperability, time must be valued as the greatest energy.
